From M40

Leave the M40 at junction 8.
Follow the A40 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the Headington roundabout.
At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A418 (signposted Oxford).
Branch left and then merge onto the A40.
At Headington Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A420 (signposted City Centre, Headington).
Turn right onto Old High Street.
Turn left onto Saint Andrew's Road.
Bear right onto Stoke Place.
Ruskin Hall campus is located on the corner of Stoke Place and Dunstan Road.
Stoke House is located down Stoke Place adjacent to Ruskin Hall.

From A34 Newbury Northbound, Newbury

From Chieveley Service Area (MOTO) continue along the A34 (sign posted Oxford).
Come off at the Hinksey Hill Interchange and take the 3rd exit (signposted Ring Road, London).
At Kennington roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4144 (signposted City Centre).
Keep in right hand lane then at the traffic signals turn right onto Weirs Lane - B4495.
Continue over Donnington Bridge and turn left onto the A4158.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A420.
Turn left onto Osler Road.
Turn left onto Saint Andrew's Road.
Bear right onto Stoke Place.

To get from Oxford train station to the Headington sites, you will need to take a taxi or bus service.

By Taxi

Advise the taxi driver that you wish to go to Ruskin Hall / Stoke House, Old Headington.

By Bus

The Headington sites are located 1.1 miles from the John Radcliffe Hospital.

There are several bus services that travel from the City centre where our main Walton Street site is located to Headington where our Ruskin Hall site is located.

These services are:

Arriva 280 – which collects and returns from Oxford train station.

Brookes bus U1 – which collects and returns from Oxford train station.

Oxford Bus company No8 & No9 services towards Barton/Risinghurst - which collect from: Speedwell Street (Stop S1) Opposite the Oxfordshire County Council.
Castle Street (Stop E3) Near the Swan and Castle pub.
Queen’s Lane (Stop K4) Outside Queen’s College on the High Street, St. Clements near Caroline Street.

Stagecoach No8 and No9 services towards Barton/Risinghurst - which collect from:
Castle Street (Stop E3) Near the Swan and Castle pub.

They then travel up Queens Street on to High Street and pickup at all the stops up to Headington.

All services stop at Headington shops on London Road where you need to alight.

Walk down Osler Road, past the rear entrance of the John Radcliffe hospital. Follow Osler Road around to the right and then turn left onto St Andrews Road. Ruskin Hall and Stoke House are located at the end of St Andrews Road at the connection to Dunstan Road.

To return to the city Centre, you can catch the same services back from Headington Shops, London Road.
