Student Profiles

High standards are expected – and achieved - as evidenced both by student results and the comments of a succession of external examiners who have declared that ‘This is an intellectually challenging curriculum, that fully reflects contemporary debates in the field of public & social history. It is to be highly commended’. They have praised the ‘extremely rigorous standards’ of this ‘ambitious and challenging course’, which provides ‘an exciting and innovative intellectual approach to postgraduate historical studies’.

In a recent survey 100% of past Public History students stated that their objectives had been achieved and 100% declared that they would recommend the course to others. For some it had been life-changing:
