Certificate of Higher Education in Law
Financing Your Studies
Most full-time students will be eligible to apply to the Adult Education Bursary to cover tuition fees, composition, examination and validation fees, and a maintenance grant. If you are accepted by the College you will be sent a guide on the Adult Education Bursary which gives full details of the scheme and lists eligibility criteria.
If you are studying part-time you will need to contact your Local Education Authority (LEA). One application will cover your student loans for fees and living costs as well as your maintenance grant. You will be able to find contact details for your LEA in the local phone book or you can visit www.dfes.gov.uk/studentsupport. If you call your LEA or drop into their offices, ask to speak to the students’ awards officer or the student support officer and they will explain what you need to do.
Further information on can be found in our fees and funding section.
