Certificate of Higher Education in International Labour and Trade Union Studies

Financing Your Studies

Most first year, full-time students will be eligible to apply to the Adult Education Bursary to cover tuition fees, composition, examination and validation fees, and a maintenance grant.

If you are studying part-time, or full-time on the second or third year of the course will need to contact your Local Education Authority (LEA). One application will cover your student loans for fees and living costs as well as your maintenance grant. You will be able to find contact details for your LEA in the local phone book or you can visit www.dfes.gov.uk/studentsupport. If you call your LEA or drop into their offices ask to speak to the students’ awards officer or the student support officer and they will explain what you need to do.

Students who are on the part time block residential course may be eligible to apply for help with their tuition fees etc through their Union.

Further information on can be found in our fees and funding section.
