I was a student, I think I can just about justify using that word , at Ruskin from 1989 - 91. It was for me as it was for so many a life changing experience and something I will never forget. I was a member of Bowen and remember Wendy and Jen with great affection, also the Bully Peeps, Badger, Gog ,Batty Phil the Sax and everyone else that made the experience so special. I have kept in touch with Harry and Shugs and recently had a great reunion with messers Russel and Whiteman.I think they were shocked to find me a school teacher and a grandfather but what the hell, time moves on, I was suprised to see them grey and bald.If anyone reads this please get in touch , all this talk of reunion should lead somewhere. Hope Brian and Steve who were brilliant English Tutors are also out there and happy. Cheers Comrades.Mike O.

Greetings to all!

Sorry for the belated correspondence, but “time waits for no man”. I certainly remember all of you. I left Ruskin full of dreams amid dismay, the latter at rejection from Cam’s the former for the drive acquired in oxford. Trust me, SOAS(Lon) is the only place to be!!! i’m expecting a 2ii in Econ&Pol(hons) and wait for it….working in research for the Tories…not what you think(unless internal sabotage is on your mind!!)

firstly, I was the class of 2002/3, big up to that moment in time and to Stephen Howe, Bob Purdie and Mike Rooke. What a whirlwind the past three years have been for me. at this moment i am in SOAS reminiscing on people who have made a profound impression on my present historical path, and have concluded that you all, reluctantly :) have had an important role to play (with respect to Ruskin). no space to continue so, Lucy!!!! Lawrence!! Jane, Penny, Casper, lil’ Alex!! Alex,Will, James, Cheggers? ED!!!! get in touch pls!! and if your names not down god bless if i don’ t see you soon we’ll meet at the cross roads.

Greetings

Just visited the Ruskin website for the first time and Fellowship pages. Good to see the old college is doing well and nice to see so many names I remember are still there teaching.

I would love to hear from anyone who was at Ruskin with me. I studied Labour Studies. I am still in contact with John Withers who some will know from 1993/4 as we are still regular Baggies followers.

All the best Ruskin and thanks again for the valuable time I spent there.
