On Saturday 7th June, John Prescott came to Walton Street for a whole day visit. He answered questions from a hall full of people, both College members and the general public, and then stayed to sign copies of his new book: Prezza: My Story - Pulling No Punches. Throughout the day, John was being filmed for a BBC2 programme, on his own journey through life and his views on social class, that will be screened in late September. On his way back to London, John called in at the Headington site for a guided tour from the Principal to hear about the College's exciting redevelopment plans. At both sites, he looked for the location of his former bedroom during his two years at Ruskin. He certainly enjoyed the nostalgia of his visit to the place where, according to his book, he spent the happiest years of his life.
