All our students are exceptional, but something unheard of was achieved by this year’s BA students of English Studies, Creative Writing and Critical practice. The nine new BAs gained seven 1st's and two 2.1’s. This marks them all out as a highly gifted cohort, and Ruskin is understandably very proud of them. Three of them will be going on to MA level at various institutions, including Tony Cousins who has been awarded a scholarship to Goldsmith’s College, London.
Tom Sherry and Helen Kidd (tutors) proudly accompanied them to the Barbican on Friday 18th September for the Open University graduation ceremony.
Congratulations to them all: Carol Buxton, Tony Cousins, Josie Harvey-Jones, Hannah Johnson, Paul Kelly, Denis O’Brien, Mark Mayes, Jon Mycroft and Zoe Southcott. They have proved that Ruskin students are among the pick of the bunch.
