LabourStart (www.labourstart.org) is a central sources of news and information for trade unionists globally. In fact, the web-site is headlined 'Where trade unionists start their day on the net'.
LabourStart's founder, Eric Lee, agreed with the MA's programme co-ordinator, Ian Manborde, to create a unique marketing plug for the MA. He used his international database of 55,000 trade unionists to e-mail a short profile of the MA with a link to Ian's blog which provided more detailed information: www.ianmanborde.blogspot.com
As the MA is bound to embed modern techniques in the use of e-marketing and attracts international students this collaboration provides a perfect platform from which to attract the new learners for the MA's next intake which starts in October 2010.
