After completing my PhD in political theory at York University in 2008, I taught and lectured in politics at Southampton University and in economic history at Portsmouth University for several years before joining Ruskin as Tutor in Politics and Social Sciences in 2012. I am a highly experienced teacher and lecturer in higher education and have also worked as a school teacher – I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Cambridge University.
