I joined Ruskin College in April 2010.
I head the Learning Resources Department (comprised of the Callaghan Library, the IT department and the Audio-Visual Department) with my main responsibility pertaining to the Callaghan Library. This includes the strategic overview of the library as well as all print and electronic resource provision provided by the Library. The role also includes study help and support through to the day to day running of this resource.
I obtained my MSc in Library and Information studies from Robert Gordon University in 2014 with my dissertation concentrating on E-book preferences across the Ruskin cohorts. The ever increasing electronic environment is a particular interest of mine both from a teaching and resource perspective, as well as the future consequences to printed material, from the book trade through to printed ephemera. I am currently working on my first journal article as well as working towards fellowship of the HEA.
