Creative Writing for Wellbeing
Have you ever wanted to create a story, a poem or to write about your experiences but don’t know where to start? Then this course is ideal for you. You will be encouraged and inspired to start writing and receive plenty of support and feedback in group workshops.
Read, analyse and discuss the work of a wide range of authors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere on this stimulating short course.

What will I need?
In order to access Ruskin’s online courses, you will need a computer/laptop/tablet/smart phone with:
- a webcam
- speakers and microphone
- portable headset
- access to Google Meet
You should also be able to send and receive emails, open links in emails and open and save documents.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Write at least one short story using techniques explored
- Write two or more short pieces of factual writing based upon personal experience
- Write several poems of different layouts and structures
- Improve and develop your communication skills

On this course you will be assessed through:
- Q & As,
- Completed work
- Group activities
- Recorded sessions
We offer a range of further Wellbeing and English qualifications.
What will it cost me?
The cost for this course is £60. It is free if you are unemployed or earning less than £17,004 per annum.
