What are the qualifications about?
You will get to know how to get the most out of internet and email and how to use e-mail to exchange information with others. You will find out how to send attachments, manage your email address book, use email to schedule activities and how to organise your digital communications.
Who are they for?
If you have limited experience of using the internet and email, would like to use them more effectively, or are looking for an opportunity to improve your CV and employability, then this course is for you.
What do I need?
There are no entry requirements for this course, but it is best if you have basic computer skills and the ability to use a keyboard.

Completing the Introduction to Internet and Email Level 1 usually takes:
- 3 days full time
This residential course runs from Monday to Wednesday.
What jobs could they lead to?
You can build on what you have learnt on this course by taking some of our other IT courses, such as spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Word. This will then mean you can go on to achieve the ITQ for IT Users Award. The award has been carefully designed with employers to ensure it meets what they are looking for.
What would it cost me?
This course is free, subject to eligibility. For those who are not eligible, the cost is £260 (inc lunch and accommodation).
