These courses will cover the basics of website design – from understanding the terminology around the software such as domain names, webhosts and HTML, to planning and creating individualised multipage websites.
We will use a cloud-based platform to create and manage themed pages, and add website features such as images, logos and maps. We will also consider the constraints affecting websites such as copyright law.
You may be charged course fees depending on your previous level of education but don’t worry; we will help you access financial support if you are entitled to it. For more information visit our Further Education fees and funding page.
While there are no entry requirements for these qualifications, it is advised that you have basic computer skills and are capable of using the internet.
