Duration: Part-time, 20 weeks
This course runs on Mondays and Wednesdays between 5pm and 7.30pm

Award in Information, Advice or Guidance Level 3

We have one course running:
25 February 2019  - 22 May 2019
This course runs on Mondays and Wednesdays between 5pm and 7.30pm

 Location: Both the Certificate and Award in Information, Advice or Guidance courses are held at Ruskin Hall Campus, Old Headington, Oxford, OX3 9BZ

This course has been designed for learners working in the field, to share good practice and build confidence in their ability to fulfil their role as providers of advice in a range of contexts. It gives support to those working as advice or guidance providers. This qualification may be particularly suitable for those who are:

  • Involved in giving advice, information or guidance
  • Have an interest and/or some involvement in information, advice or guidance delivery but not as their primary role

Upon completion of this course, learners will have understood the contexts for the delivery of information, advice or guidance. They will have gained knowledge on the importance of effective communication skills in information, advice or guidance delivery. Learners will have also acquired an understanding of advice and guidance in the context of their own organisation as well as the importance of relevant policies to the Information, Advice or Guidance role.
