Health and Safety in the Workplace Level 2
We have three courses running:

16 April 2018 and 17 April 2018
11 June 2018 and 12 June 2018
Duration: Part-time Mondays and Tuesdays 10am-4pm
at Ruskin Hall Campus, Old Headington, Oxford, OX3 9BZ
This course will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and understanding of health and safety hazards and the importance of maintaining a safe workplace environment, whether you are already in a work environment, preparing to start work or returning to work.
Modules for this course include:
Roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace
Identify and controlling the risks from common workplace hazards
Procedures for responding to accidents and incidents

This course has no specific academic entry requirements. However, you should be able to demonstrate you have the potential and opportunity to gain the qualification.
Having gained this qualification you will understand roles and responsibilities for: health, safety and welfare in the workplace, and how risk assessments contribute to health and safety. You will be able to identify and control the risks from common workplace hazards and know the procedures for responding to accidents and incidents in the workplace.
