This course is designed to help increase learners’ knowledge of the society in which they live and will work.
You would expect the course to cover areas including (but not limited to):
- Skills to make balanced and increasingly independent transitions both now and in future life
- Knowledge of business and enterprise
- Job-seeking and employability skills

If you wish to study this course at Level 1, it will be expected that you hold an Entry 3 in English and Maths.
Upon application for the courses you will be invited for an initial assessment and interview to ensure that the course is suitable for you.
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to progress to a Level 2 Award in Economic Wellbeing and Financial Capability course. This qualification also enables progression to employment and further learning opportunities within employment, or further study.
