This short course will provide you with a basic introduction to counselling and the use of counselling skills. It will introduce you to some of the main schools of counselling and the theories and techniques that counsellors employ in practice.

The course is suitable for people with no previous experience of counselling and who are interested in finding out more about the subject. This course is also suitable for people who have previously studied counselling and would like to refresh their knowledge.

By the end of the course, you will have developed your knowledge of counselling and be able to appreciate its many applications to a range of individual and group situations.
