A Taste of Ruskin: An Introduction to Counselling

This course is designed to provide you with a basic introduction to counselling and the use of counselling skills. It will introduce you to some of the main schools of counselling and the theories and techniques that counsellors employ in practice.
The course is suitable for people with no previous experience of counselling and who are interested in finding out more about the subject. This course is also suitable for people who have previously studied counselling and would like to refresh their knowledge.
This is a residential course, you may be eligible for two nights' accommodation and food. We will help you access financial support if you are entitled to it.
For those in work, the course will cost £185 (this includes lunch).
There are no academic requirements for entry to the course.
By the end of the course, you will have developed your knowledge of counselling and be able to appreciate its many applications to a range of individual and group situations.
