The Callaghan Library
You will find that The Callaghan Library is at the centre of your learning here: not only is it at the heart of campus, but online access will also give you 24/7 access to its extensive collections and resources.
You can make the most of the 45,000 volumes and over 150 journals, all dedicated to the courses and subject areas we teach, and access cutting-edge IT equipment and spacious workspace.
You will be intrigued by our extensive collection of historic pamphlets, DVDs, CDs and audiotapes. You will also find the McColl/Seeger archive of folk-song and protest music and other historical documents.
Library access
The library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Staff are on hand between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and some Saturdays afternoons.
If you are on a University Programme, you will also enjoy unique membership of the Bodleian Library, the main library of the University of Oxford and the UK’s largest university library system.
Ruskin students can also use many other libraries in Oxford, including some of the faculty libraries of the University of Oxford.
