About the event

Short courses may be free of charge if you are eligible under the Pound Plus and Fee Remittance Policy. For those not eligible there is a course fee of £25.

This course is designed for beginners who have their own DSLR, Mirrorless or Compact camera, who want to develop their photography skills.

Through weekly sessions, introductions to visual skills, camera features and technical elements are explored, including ‘shutter speeds’, ‘aperture’, ‘ISO’ at a starting level for individuals to understand (exploring what these elements are and then how to operate them on our cameras).

Participants will need to bring their own DSLR, Mirrorless or Compact camera.

  • Time: Mondays from 4pm to 7pm
  • Location: Ruskin College 

You must be 19 years or older to be able to attend this course.

An attendance certificate will be handed out to students who complete the course.
