About the event

Short courses may be free of charge if you are eligible under the Pound Plus and Fee Remittance Policy. For those not eligible there is a course fee of £25.

Through weekly introductions to different creative photography topics, techniques and approaches, participants will have the chance to develop their creative voice and photographic skills.

Best suited for individuals who have their own DSLR, Mirrorless, or Compact camera, as well as a broad overview and understanding of digital camera exposure modes (such as ‘shutter priority’ mode, ‘aperture priority’ mode, and ‘manual exposure’ mode).

The course aims to help participants capture and create stronger creative photographs. Additionally, the course offers participants the opportunity to work on out-of-session projects. These projects will allow individuals to build their own personal portfolios, showcasing their growth as photographers and the development of their own personal style and interests.

Whether you aspire to become a professional photographer or simply have a passion for capturing engaging images, this course provides a supportive and collaborative environment for you to explore and refine your creative photography skills and creative voice.

Participants will need to bring their own DSLR, Mirrorless, or Compact camera.
